The World Chess Hall of Fame is thrilled to present the first collaboration between Music Director Brian Woods and the internationally acclaimed Arianna String Quartet. The program features César Franck's intensely passionate Piano Quintet in F Minor, a masterwork of French romanticism that has been described as possessing "torrid emotional power." Music Director Brian Woods is joined by the Arianna String Quartet, which has firmly established itself as one of America’s finest chamber ensembles. Their performances have been described as “radiant from the first moment,” (A.M. News, Léon, Mexico) with “emotional commitment, fluent virtuosity, and poetic vision” (Pretoria News, South Africa).
